excuse me if anyone thinks this is a useless post..ok so i have a P4 prescott now i know the things are supposed run hot but mine doesnt seems to even after running prime 95 for 5 hours the peak temperature was only 39.4C now im sure this isnt the temperature sensor becuase i also used a laser thermometer to measure the temps with the computer running and its basically the same so is the fact that its so cool because its being throttled somehow and if so can someone tell me how to fix it

idk i didnt have a problem i just installed it but it might not support your procie depending on its age i happen to have one of the newer P4's so maybe you should go to the site where you get core temp and see what processors it support. Now can anyone tell me if the lowish temps are a sign the processor isnt working to it full potential?
