Hello and Happy Holiday,
Can you please have a look at the specs on a pc I am thinking of building. I will be using it for gaming, editing and programming, I thank you in advance for any advice/suggection and any usefull tips.

Chassis
• Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail $79 after mail-in-rebate

Fan/Heatsinks
• Recommend me a good CPU cooler & fan will fit on Antec 900. What do you think about this one..Tuniq Tower 120 or Scythe SCNJ-1100P 120mm Sleeve or maybe Thermalright SI-128 SE CPU Cooling

Motherboard
• ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail - $226.99
Support PCI Express 2.0 x16 for EVGA GeForce 8800GTS

GPU
• EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) PCI Express 2.0 Video Card - Retail $359.99

PSU
• Antec TPQ-850 850W Power Supply - Retail $199.99
I was going to get PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad (Crossfire Edition)- but I got a very good deal from NewEgg.com Antec TPQ-850 850W & EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) for only $518.99

CPU
• Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core Processor - Retail $279.99

Optical Drive
• SONY 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with 12X DVD-RAM White P-ATA Model DRU840A - Retail $59.99

Operating System
• Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate DVD - Retail $319.99

I had a bad experience with OEM-Product. such as capabilities issue, general hardware failer and manufacture warranty. I usally to get the retail product, thats why It's little expensive then OEM-Product.

Thumbs up for picking out the Quattro, one of the best psu's. Overall a solid list. Where's the ram & hard disk?

Do you mean compatibility issues? The parts on your lists are retail. I never had a problem with OEM. It's mostly user errors. I buy only OEM harddisks & optical drives. Not long ago, the overclockers would kill for an OEM AMD 2600+ Mobile CPU (no box, no fan, but o/c crazy, not sold any other way). If you mean careless handling of OEM parts, yes, they will probably fail. Most every local dealer put a hard disk, regardless of price, in a plastic bag, for example.
