Has anyone around these parts had a go at getting Intels new 45nm processors past 7.2Ghz?

Was wandering the net at work and found a link to a chap who got a P4 to peek at 7.2 and run fine and 6.8 ish.

Vic to say it needed a little more than air cooing.

me my record is 3.7 out of a E8400, though not over summer as its a bit warm.

The fastest I have ever heard of a consumer CPU going is a P4 at 8Ghz.
Never botherd to take my Q6600 past 3.6Ghz, no real need.

Right now it looks like they are only getting up to 5.6ghz.
I'd assume that as the process matures they will be able to get up higher with the overclocking, but since nehalem is coming out soon, the current 45nm process won't be able to mature much.
