The cable the connects the front pannel to the sound card, is it just a standard IDE cable?

Should be a 8 connedtor plug coming out of the case. There is likely two audio plug plugs, one will be 3 or 4 that connects near the Power connector that is for the mobo beeps and the second larger one for the audio connector
