My HD crashed so im having to redo the whole system and it wont let me set the dvi and vga ports to put out the same signal.

Right now I can do a dual monitor display between them fine but cant get the same screen on both

The basic idea is that I can run it off my TV (on the VGA) and when I have a video game but still want to view my itunes for music run the aux 22inch LCD I have on the side and have the full functionality.

The video card is a ATi Radeon X300

Don't know about ATI cards, but with my nVidia card there's a Control Panel where I can go to monitor settings and pick between DualView (i.e. different images on the two monitors) or Clone (same image on both monitors) or single monitor.
