Hi Guys,

I just want to get a clear idea about these three mobos:

Asus P5K E-WIFI

Asus P5K Deluxe

Asus P5E

Which one of these are really good and stable one for me with this config:

Core 2 duo E8400
Corsair XMS 6400C4 4gb
2 x 320gb 7200.10
512mb 8800gts gigabyte pci.e-2.0
corsair 620w psu
gigabyte 3d aurora 570 case

I like the P5E features but I dont know if it is worth it for that value of money...

Please some feedback on these mobos...

Regards,

Hello and welcome to the fourms mate :)

First P5K-E WIFI and P5K DELUXE:
P5K-E WIFI = exactly PK5 DELUXE with 2 differenecs(yes ONLY 2 LITTLE DIFFERENES ) :
1_1 less copper, which isnt important
2_1 less gigabitlan, which isnt important

P5K-E WIFI is cheaper

Both P5K-E WIFI and P5K DELUXE are P35 chipsets but P5E is X38
the main difference between P35 and X38 is that X38 supports PCI-E 2.0 @ Full bandwidth but P35 supports PCI-E 1.0 but not @ full bandwidth,(which wont make a lot of difference )
also X38 supports CrossFire @ dual 16x mode but P35 support Crossfire
@ 16x4x, which i have talked about here :
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/foru [...] sfire-faqs

P5E has better cooling than Both P5K-E WIFI and P5K DELUXE

So if u dont need CrossFire, then i say go for P5K-E WIFI, its the best
price/performane board in those
