I purchased a laptop with a 8600M nvidia card. The laptop also has vista-32 bit installed. For some reason whenever I try to update the drivers from Nvidia's website, I get an error message saying that I am not using Vista-32. I have also tried installing the vista-64 bit drivers, and that gave the same message. Finally I uninstalled the graphics card from the Device manager, but now I am not sure how to re-install the 8600M GPU. I'm pretty sure a GPU installation disk didnt come with the comp.

I've tried that too, and it says the same error message. For some reason Nvidia stuff wont recognize im using vista-32 bit. I hope re-formatting isn't the only option

Contact the vendor of the motherboard. I had that same issue with a dell and they had to replace the motherboard.
