Hey guys I just put my new Q6600 system together and have yet to get a 8800GT but I have an old PCIE X800 can I use that card till I get my 8800GT?

When I get my 8800GT will vista let me take out the X800 and put in the 8800GT without having to format and reinstalling vista?

the x800 will work as long as u have a pci-express slot.When u get the 8800gt, uninstall the ati drivers and take the x800 out then put the 8800gt in and install the new drivers

Video card upgrades do not require reinstalls.
