Well I got the Athlon 6400 a few weeks ago and it's going great. But I've tried and I've tried but I can't get ahold of any benchmarks. I don't know why tomshardware doesnt put it in the list that just confuses me. But if anyone knows where I could find some it would be appreciated.

More about : amd 6400

Is he talking about the dual core athlon 6000 series based on k-10?, because there is a load of data on the x2 6400

I don't believe he means K10 Athlons...

Well why doesnt Toms Hardware put the 6400 in any benchmarks?

Likely because they have done tests with the 6000+.
At that time, they OC'd the 6000+ to 6400+ speeds.

You will get the same results with the 6400+ and will be able to OC maybe another little bit. From that you should know what to expect.
However, there is nothing really that exciting that would necessarily dictate a whole new indepth study.

You will also find many current Intel Chips that have not been tested indepth. If they are something seriously new, then yes. If they are simple clock bumps, then not normally.

What are you talking about? There are heaps of benchmarks on the X2 6400+ on the net, you just have to look. ;)

You'll probably hate me for posting the following article (be warned) ;)

That's neet, however, the OP wants to know how is his 6400 going against the 6400s benchmarked on the net.
I assume we already know that the core 2 are faster than any Athlon X2, still not a lot faster. Wait... those 45nm really rocks.

...i guess they should update the benchmark charts...
