I am sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find an exact answer.

I presently have 2x1 gig Mushkin Extreme Performance in DC configuration on an Asus P5K board and vista 32. I am considering adding 1 or 2 more gigs and I was wondering if I only add 1 stick into channel 2 would that adversly affect my performance.

Thanks

Adding only 1 more stick would force the memory to run in single channel mode and therefore would adversely affect your preformance.
