Is this temperature reading accurate?

I'm using PC Probe to follow the temp on my CPU and I consistently get a room temperature reading on my CPU when just doing things like surfing the web. Room temperature ranges from 68F to 72F here. I have a q6600 running at stock speed with a xigmatek s1283 heatsink. Is it normal to run at room temperature or am I not getting an accurate reading?

Use RealTemp2.5, it's the best

Using Realtemp I still got room temperature for 2 of the 4 cores. The other 2 were at 26C and 28C while just surfing the web. Got up to 39C on one core while playing AOC. Looks like the pc probe temps were pretty close to accurate, must have been giving me the temp on one of the least active cores.
