I want a P35 motherboard that has decent/good onboard sound. Can someone recommend one? I am considering Gigabyte P35 series DS3R, DS4, DSP (I am hoping this one has good onboard sound since I am leaning towards that one), Abit IP35 (not Pro as I probably can't afford that one).
I doubt I'll go with Asus P5K-E unless someone has proof that there are no heat or onboard sound problems. I have a Asus Socket 939 motherboard that has major hissing/buzzing when I use (noise isolating) earphones with them. It is Realtek hardware with Realtec Codecs and current drivers. I should probably ask about this regarding the Gigabyte and Abit boards but if someone knows which boards have decent onboard sound, that would be great.
I really don't want to buy two PCI sound cards if I can help it. At least, not yet.
