DirectX 11

Is it possible to get DirectX 11 for Windows XP anywhere??? minus the trojans?? I would like to run an ATI HD5450 card in my Lenovo 3000 J110 7393 it has a PCIe slot but I cannot seem to run it no matter what i have tried ....help if possible would be nice thanks for your input Rich

Some of us have been using Windows 7 for more than a year. Win 7 BETA's were free and available since around March '09. Easiest way to find out would be to use a second hard drive and buy an OEM Windows 7 disk from a place like Newegg and install it on your system. Keep the drive with XP until you are satisfied with Windows 7.

The card will run fine on XP. You don't need DirectX 11 to run the card. If thats your issue, something else is happening.

As for your later question about whether to upgrade, it might be worth it if your a big gamer. Otherwise, not really worth the money.
