Dell support by users

Hello,
my usb ports do not work, in that when I plug in a mouse or other external hardware it doesnt function. I read once (2-3 years ago that a MS update could cause this problem. I did a return and it worked but now I can't repeat whatever worked before. Anyone?

I could be dead. But check the Device manager for unknown device. Will have a yellow exclamation mark.

U also can go to re-install USB drivers, after u remove the old one..

Is it a laptop?
