Hello, I've decided to build a new computer mostly for gaming, I doubt I'll get into the whole overclocking thing but I guess you never know. On the other hand, I want to be able to upgrade later if necessary. Any help I could get spotting possible conflicts would be appreciated.
2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 SATA 500GB Hard Drive
ASUS 20x DVDR w/Lightscribe SATA DVD Burner
Zalman CNPS9500 Cooling Fan/Heatsink
Vista 64-bit Ultimate
Samsung 226BW 22" 2ms DVI Widescreen LCD Monitor
NZXT Adamas ATX Mid Tower
I haven't really decided which video card to get, I'm going ATI but I'd like to wait for the 3870 x2 so I can leave the other PCI-E x16 open for now with the possibility of upgrading to dual 3870 x2 in Crossfire.
I am sure that some people might say that if you are not going to over clock to get the E6850 but the quad core is more future proof. Plus if you decide to over clock it is a no brainer.
That builds scream silent & crossfire-ready. Zalman knows silent computing. If you swap that case out for an Antec Solo (sound-proofed), it'll be even more silent.
