Ok guys, I really need some help, and would be thankful for some expert advice.

I would like to build my own, and will, but after reading these forums and others im more confused about the components than ever. Soooo many choices.

Heres what im going for.
Bugdet $1000 (+/-, $100)
Used mainly for gaming, some FPS's, and others but not Crysis, Bioshock, etc. I would like a good proc and Gpu for future use.
No real need for massive storage 250 or 320 hdd would do fine.
My ideas so far:
Intel Proc, maybe E6750? (Unless you can convince me to go AMD) :)
GPU 8800gt
I need help with MoBo, Ram, Psu, case,Hdd, OS etc.
And lastly, any advice on a good 20-22 inch wide screen monitor? This will not be included in the above price, just looking for your take. Under $200 would be great.

I wont be over clocking, and no plans to go SLI.
I plan on buying from new egg, just for ease of payment and delivery, so quotes from there would help.
Anything I might have missed, or If you need more info, please ask. Again, thanks for all the help, I have learned much, just from reading, and hope to continue.

you could go a little cheaper on psu. $50 is the most i'll spend for 500w. antec earthwatts can be found at that price. the money could be put towards a 512 8800gt. otherwise that's a great list rwpritchet t compiled for you.
