Is Asus P5K-SE or PRO enough?

I'm trying to put together a system with the following specs:

Intel Q6600 Quad-core Processor
Asus EN8800GTX Graphics Card
2 x Transcend 2 GB DDR2 800 RAM

I'm no expert with computers and would appreciate any advice on the choice of a motherboard. Basically, I am wondering if an Asus P5K-SE or an Asus P5K-PRO would be sufficient to take advantage of these specs (while remaining stable). Also, which would be the better choice between the two?

If these two boards might bottleneck performance, what board would be a better alternative (and how much of a performance increase are we talking about)?

Thanks in advance for any advice or suggestions :)

no issues with the P5K-SE... if you want more features you could move to the P5K-e... or gigabytes GA-P35-DS3L is usually cheaper and still an awesome board

Thanks for the reply.

About the P5K-Pro Motherboard, I've heard that it is quite a bargain for its price/features and also read some favorable reviews on the board. But I've seen forum posts saying that it is hard to install and does not perform up to expectation. Can anyone familiar with the board clear things up for me? Thanks!

Here's a comparison of the SE P5K and P5K E mobos. Couldn't find the P5K Pro. I'd go with either the P5K or P5K E,3 PCI slots and more features. You have to read consumer reviews on mobo especially with a shaker of salt. For what ever reason a lot of people get upset when mobo don't do what they were never designed to do.

Thanks again for the replies.

But would the features on the P5K-E be relavant to me if I don't plan on over-clocking?

Could be. 6 SATA connectors allow for a lot of SATA hdds and DVDs, eSATA would be good if you get an external hdd, best connection. Firewire if you have a digital camcorder that connects with firewire. If you'll never use these, then the P5K would be fine
