Hello, I have a peculiar problem. My tablet tx 2513cl says that I have a SCSI drive yet according to HP they state it is a SATA drive???? :( Anyone, know anything about this? I am thinking of upgrading but I am not going to void the warranty to if it is a SCSI and none of the computer stores around where I live sell SCSI drives for laptops.

Just another question, could this cause a peculiar click i the drive when it is idle about every minute to two minutes.

Thanks for any help

Quite a few Operating Systems (you didn't say which one you have!) will label a SATA HardDrive as a SCSII device, it's because they often use SCSII device drivers for the higher level functions.

The click may just be the drive parking it's heads when idle.
