Will it work? I need a temporary CPU until I can get a Q6600 in there.
Is there any draw backs to putting it in there, besides the obvious slowness?

Get a E1xxx as a temperory CPU until you can upgrade. The new "Dual Core" Celerons will be released Jan. 20.
