if i overclock my card using catalyst control centre(ccc from now on), then disable ccc from running at start up, will my overclock be intact with out me opening ccc manualy?
i cant find a way to test this 'cos gpu z casuses my system to hang and all the free benchmarks ive tried arent consistent enough for me to be sure...
ive gone from 670/830 stock to 720/1000 oc... just incase people were wondering.
i not tried that option in order to oveclock my 3850...
i use atitool .0.27 beta or rivatuner.each program allows me to get higher clocks i managed to set the clock at 750 and the mem at 980 stable ..better in each overclocking tool i can overide the fan speed in order to have the gpu cool
the higher cloks i've got were core 780 mem 1140 but was not stable white dots and other artifacts..but the overclocking tools never guarantee a stable result it is a try and trial process
to answer your question in atitool or rivatuner you have the option to have the desired clock speeds at startup or to save to a profile and load them when you want..
hope i helped
