Can get back files from drive?

Hello,
There r 2 drives in my comuter hard disk.C and D drive.
when i was formatting my C drive to install Windos-XP,I lost all files from D drive. The D drive is in NTFS format.
Will u plz tell me how can i get the files from D drive....

There's a free utility for file recovery available from http://www.piriform.com and it's called Recuva. try that one first - if it doesn't do much for you, try Restoration 2514 from http://www.win-freeware.com/REST2514.htm but if you have no luck with either, you may need to buy more powerful software.[/#000ff]
