I'm running vista and when I have an external hd connected, I'm trying to do a search to find certain files on it, and I don't know how to, I'm trying to so it the same way u can on xp.

Go to http://goffconcepts.com/products/filesearchex/index.html
Than go to my computer and find the letter for external drive and than run filesearchex
and click "look in" and select the same letter. And than type the file to search for.
