Hi, I recently decided to reinstall my copy of Windows XP (Home Edition). I started the install, got to the part where it reboots and scans your system for other installations of Windows, then I decided I didn't want to go through with it and canceled.

Now, whenever I turn on my PC it asks me whether I want to boot up Windows or continue with the install. How can I get rid of this annoying issue?

Run msconfig, go to the tab labeled BOOT.INI and delete the line referring to "continue with the install."
