Hi I am running a DFI Lanparty P35-T2RS with 4 x 1024 Crucial Ballistix PC2-8500.  now i can only get the system stable with 2 gigs of ram running at 4-4-4-12 2T 2.2v which is the timings for running at PC2-6400 which this board supports.  I put in 4 sticks I get BSOD after a little while, running 2 sticks everything runs perfectly.  I am using Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

The cpu is running at stock settings E6750 is the cpu, 8800gts 512mb video card

I can't seem to find a resolution to this problem as all the sticks pass memtest not sure what other tests I can run

please help

Don't need to use any other memory test if your ram checks out in memtest. It's good.

I think you need a Vista update to run 4GB+. Also, up the vdimm a notch above the specs. Ballistix can take up to 2.4-5v.

I had a similar problem although no BSOD...  I received a ton of Memtest errors when I had 4 sticks (each 1 GB) but received no Memtest errors with combinations of 2 sticks.  (I have a Gigabyte P35-DS3P and Patriot Extreme PC2-6400 ram at 4-4-4-12.)  The Patriot RAM said those timings required 2.1v so I set +0.3 in the BIOS.  I actually got rid of the Memtest errors when I reduced the voltage to +0.25 or 2.05v...  so you might want tot try reducing the voltage on the RAM.
