GNOME Partition Editor LiveCD.

You just burn the image onto a CD, and then boot from it. It takes a few minutes to boot, and then you have an easy, simple interface that you can edit your partitions with (without destroying the data). It is an excellent program, and I've used it many times. If you've used Linux or the GNOME interface before, then it should be a breeze.

That said, problems can happen, and it would be a good idea to backup your data.
