Help with encrypted files

Hi,I had an acer laptop that died but not before i took all my filesoff it.I have some encrypted files that i can not open.Even though i have the same encryption software i used on the acer it will not open them even with the same password.I presume this is because i have a dell now and not an acer.How can i open them? the files are JPGENX.Please help as i need the files and don't have a clue what to do..thanks

If files are really important, you'll have to spend a few dollars to get them back.
