Hello

I have a Geforce FX5600XT with 256 mb or DDR ram. I bought a new LCD Samsung SyncMaster 932BF. If I use the VGA cable it works fine, but if I use the DVI cable in some games that do not use the same resolution of the desired one I have for my everyday usage, it goes all back then comes back to normal, sometimes it comes back and I'm good for a while and sometimes it keeps on clicking on and off. Until I turn off the game then I'm good.

I tried 2 other DVI cables, so that rules that out.

So, is it the LCD monitor or the video card?

Without going to a friends house to test my video card and lcd monitor, is there more tests I can do?

I would love to just use the DVI connection.

Thanks

Here is a bootable floppy/cd which may help:

You need rawwrite for the floppy version, or an application which can burn an image file to a cd. I haven't used this myself, but it seems to be a problem with Geforce 4 and 5 generation cards--especially those out of Dell machines.
