All of a sudden this error is showing up and I can't use my cd drive. It isn't even listed under the my computer.

A driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32)

Go to the device manager. Right click and uninstall the CD drive, then restart the PC. If the CD drive isn't automatically detected, go back into the device manager, right click on the computer logo at the top, and search for new hardware.
