I'm a newcomer to overclocking, if that wasn't obvious from the thread. :)

Speed: 3.975 GHz
Temperature: 57 - 59 C
wPrime 32M: 18.7 seconds

The above were my final results with a Zalman CNPS9700 (fan running at 100%).

The only thing I'm not really satisfied with are the delays between the two threads. There are virtually none, but wouldn't it be better if they were exactly the same? With my first OC (3.825 GHz) I was getting much lower temperatures and the 32M test finished at 19.4 seconds with both threads running without a millisecond of difference.

So... which one should I go with?

Your to hot for a stable system. Try running prime 95 small ftts and see how hot it gets or if it crashes prime95.

Mine averages 55C under full load at 4.05 GHZ, what is your vcore at? I find it best to run at 3.6 because I can keep my vcore at 1.12 vs the 1.232 that I need for 4ghz. My average load temp at 3.6ghz is 44C

I pushed it a bit further just to see how far it could go.
I ran Prime95 with the e8400 @ 4.05GHz for about 30 minutes and it didn't crash or overheat. I'll run it overnight to really torture test it soon -- I've just been a bit too busy lately to do it.

The vcore is currently at 1.225v.
You must just have better cooling :)
