this wireless router is for my laptop and i want to know if it can connect to my ipod touch 2nd generation?
-on the box it does not say anything about wifi and the manual too

If the manual doesn't mention setting up wireless then it's presumably a plain ADSL Gateway which would require the addition of a wireless access point in order to do what you want.

I have a Linksys combo like that and never use it because it's an extra hassle to set up two units together rather than a simple integrated unit (and it uses more power). So I would recommend buying an integrated ADSL Wireless Router.
