Hi all,

I am buying a new computer at a store in Denmark, where I can make a few choices on each part. They decided the overall parts, but gave a few choices to down- or upgrade each.
I choose the 8800GT instead of 8800GTX, which saved me a fine sum of money. But they had different versions of the 8800GT.

Which ones would you prefer? XpertVision, inno3D or the, to me, unknown Pixelview edition?

I heard the inno3D was a fast card, but also a bit noisy. Xpertvision I heard was more silent, but I am not sure how it is in benchmarks compared to Inno3D. Can't google any matchups.
What is your impression? How do the two cards match each other in a comparisson?

Thanks in advance :)

i would say all 8800GT's are made equal, if they both come with Stock coolers then there is no noise difference. Never heard of Pixelview so i cant say much about them, what i would look for is what each company offers on Warrantys if one of them does a Lifetime warranty, then take it!

Well, it seems Xpertvision has their own cooler, so it isn't both stock. But maybe it is rare for sites to compare the same card, just different "versions" of it (Inno3D, Xpertvision, Club3D etc)?

I'm very sorry but that statement is total rubbish, there are huge performance difference between lets say an XFX 8800gt and a inno3d 8800gt... i've seen and tested this myself.

but to come back to the original post, i'd go for the inno3d but keep in mind that you would have to replace the cooling on it, 2/3 of the inno products that i have sold had a problem with cooling, the fan would just stop working after a month or 2. but otherwise is a good brand.

Okay, I thought there were some differences too..
You do not know how the Xpertvision compare to Inno3D? Or know where I can find out how it does?

Thanks for your reply :)

the only differences will be in clock speeds, cooling, and warranty. many companies sell factory overclocked cards that will outperform their stock bretheren, and usually come at a related price premium. if they are overclocked, then additional cooling might be necessary, so the company could come up with their own cooler to use. this could be good or bad. finally, the warranty will come in handy should something go wrong. Draw up a cost/benefit chart post it on here, go to the kitchen and get me some pie.

unfortunately i don't know Xpertvision, but i do know inno3D quite well, and no one ever tests the differences between brands, so sorry can't help you there, but ask them witch one has the best warrenty and and after sale service.
