Hi,

As you see in my other topic, I might be recieving a XpertVision 8800GT in my new computer, arriving tomorrow. I am starting to gather the newest driver for the system, and I fell upon this...

Xpertvision has a driver on their own page for the card:
http://www.xpertvision.com/en/support/driver.html

I was wondering, this file says "8800GTonly" in the title, whereas the files from NVidia's own site seems to be for a wide range of cards, gathered in the ForceWare Release 169.
What is the difference on these two, is it better to choose the 8800GT driver as that is more specialised for my card, or is the ForceWare the best option, as that might have more options available?

Hello and welcome to the forums mate :)
always download the drivers from NVIDIA
also that driver (which is written only for 8800GT) isnt the latest driver and also it isnt only for 8800GT (When 8800GT released NVIDIA released a driver for it and it was the 169.02 and it said RECOMMENDED FOR 8800GT users :) )

Ah, great :) Just thought that since some changes was made to the card by, say, Xpertvision, it might be better with their own drivers. But I will use NVidia then ^^ Thanks...
