Is it better to have a cpu with a higher clock rate or lower clock rate for overclocking? I don't understand why people would need a 1066MHZ of ram, to match that ram the fsb needs to have 2132 to have a 1:1 ratio. Is it not true that the computer will run a lot better if its synchronize... Is there another method of overclocking beside raising the fsb?

MY CURRENT SPEC. HAS A 1:1 RATIO....

Pentium 4 w/h 3.20 65 nm > 4.00GHZ

Mushkin ddr2 533mhz 4-4-4-12 2T @1.8V (2X1 gig) > ddr2 500mhz 3-3-3-9 1T @ 1.8V

G.SKILL ddr2 533mhz 4-4-4-12 2T @1.8V (2X1 gig) > ddr2 500mhz 3-3-3-9 1T @ 1.8V

Is there a better way to overclock my system? Any suggestion would be appreciated....

Because DDR2-800 is 1:1 at 400FSB which is easily hit by Core2 CPUs. I've seen FSBs pushing or exceeding 500FSB too.
