does it mean when my 8800gt finally comes i can expect good fps on high?

would it get me anywher enear very high? XD

You could expect good FPS on high with it before.


Some are getting big boosts, some are getting allmost nothing.


From what I've seen it depends on whether you actually do it properly or not, but also more options now available like FSAA fixed(yay for me) and you can now choose whether motion blur is on or off.


Biggest boost seems to be while using DX10.

^ True, but the MP and the Graphics are really awesome. Then again it depends on personal preference ;)

I think the game is great fun. Almost all big games are overhyped...... I'll try the patch out and see what kind of frames I can get in DX9

No, Halo 3 is still the most over hyped game ever.

Then again, I'd have to say that pretty much every 3d shooter since Wolfenstein 3d has been overhyped. The Genre is just to small to have so many over hyped games in it.

Halo 3 is definitly more overhype then Crysis, altough I personally think that CoD4 is at least as good.

I'll download the patch tonight and check if I can pull Dx10 with my new BFG 8800GT OC2 :D . Probably not to play challenging area, but I'll give it a try for a walk... :)

well i love the halo series and what i have seen of crysis and cod4.

(havnt got good enough graphics card yet xD)

i am as hyped as the conclusions i make myself, i dont care what other people say :D
