Hi, I'm re-installing my CPU waterblock and was curious as to the proper way to install it. Does the inlet go on top and the outlet on the bottom? Or the other way around? Or should one be on the left and the other on the right? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I see what your saying but I have only used Swiftech blocks and they say the inlet and outlet are interchangeable. I have personally found better results from having the inlet on top due to gravity pulling the coolant down because when you put the inlet on the bottom some heated coolant remains in the block that can't escape. Having the inlet on top provides a natural path from high to low that works with gravity. As the other poster stated though blocks with a connector in the middle are designed to shoot water directly at the center of the core and that should be the inlet.
