Boot from CD

Well just had to buy a bunch of components.... to build a new system even though my old system was fine...anyway lets not get into it.

have an issue here. I have now an Asus P5K motherboard.... and I am unable to boot from CD even though it is set the first boot device in the BIOS!

how the heck do I get it to boot from CD? Yes...the CD's are bootable....

it can ONLY boot from the ASUS supplied CD but not any other CD?! what the hell? What do I need to do to make it boot from any bootable CD?
