Obviously they have deep pockets to be able to throw money around. Only difference here is that CitiGroup is expected to be able to rebound where as AMD is getting pounded by analysts due to very un-competatvie products.

Also both Intel and AMD do the same thing. Intel makes most of their chips in either Chandler(AZ), Oregon or Colorado and sends them to Malaysia to be packaged. Same goes for AMD. All theirchips show made in Malaysia.

The sheiks are also buying into news corporations as well, if anyone cares. They use the profits to wage global jihad.
