Ok I am looking to get a new router as my current one is about dead. I am looking for something that is 10/100/1000 Gigabit speeds as I move files a lot from PC to PC. I would also like something that is a min of 8 ports if at all possible.

Or if anyone has any good setups that they have in mind please feel free to share as I am looking around.

Don't know if you'll find many 8 port routers. Your best bet would just be to get a Gig-E router and a Gig-E switch to go with it.

I've had pretty good luck with Netgear and D-Link, although, I haven't bought anything lately... so I'm not sure any specific models.
