i cant play games i've had for ages ///Nvidia Geforce 6150?????///is my graphics card and now it wont load the drivers for it...My AVG wont allow my windows to accept an update due to there being a virus attached....and this for any driver update////what can be done?

Good for AVG ! Have you run a scan, because it certainly sounds like you may be infected. And don't rely on just AVG to protect you. A second level of security like Malwarebytes (free), manual scans or their PRO, realtime version is good to have.

You might also do a disk cleanup on your Windows drive. Common to have culprits affecting your system, in the temp files.

And, if you find infection, delete your system restore files, or you may reintroduce them to your system.

got it fixed.....windows solution offered to update the yahoo toolbar..... since there was a direct conflict with the toolbar i disabled it and now i can browse the internet with the windows explorer......i am online nowwwwww
