I'm trying to install an internal 1TB WD caviar black hard drive on my Dell XPS 630, but after installing the drive, the computer doesn't see anything inside the management... The bios doesn't show the drive either.... not sure what to do...

my computer.
Dell xps 630i
Dell branded ATX standard motherboard with the nVidia 650i chipset
Intel® Core™2 E8500 (6MB,3.16 GHz, 1333FSB)
500GB - 7200RPM, SATA 3.0Gb/s
windows vista home premium ed. 64bit

Check the BIOS - in my dad's XPS 410, each individual SATA port could be enabled or disabled, so installing a new SATA drive also required enabling the previously unused port in the BIOS.
