I'm looking for some cooling advice for my newest system. The case is still up in the air atm(prob an 830).

780i mobo.....8800GT's in SLI...2 G of Corsair RAM... and a 3.0 Ghz CPU with soundcard.

I won't be Ocing this system currently. Can this config be effectively air cooled or am I getting too close to the point of needing water cooling to play the latest games on high settings?

If you have practical exp with a similar config i'd appreciate some opinions.

As long as you have a good air flow case you wont have a problem.

I assume by 830 you mean Coolermaster Stacker which is nice... i would also suggest Antec 900, thermaltake Armour and Lian li A10 and A70 would also do the job nicely.

Agreed. Especially around the GPUs. I like my case, Silverstone Temjin TJ09. It cools the graphics cards on air very well, and has plenty of room to add water cooling if I ever decide to.
