Is it worth me doing this?

I currently have 2xWD Raptor 150 gig drives in a RAID. one of the drives reports it is starting to get ill.

I am thinking of getting a 300gig VelociRaptor, would it be worth getting one or just get another 150gig Raptor? or even better should I get a 1TB drive - I play loads of games and want fast load speeds I also do a LOT of video editing and play with large files (4-10 gigs in size).

could always get a 1tb as a backup solution in case one of the drives dies.

keep copies of stuff on it, but use the two raptors for normal use.

you could also look at the WD6401AALS 640gb with decent access speeds.
