More Information

Just looking for some help on a PSU question.
I am getting a XFX Extreme 512mb 8800GT and would like to use a
Compucase HEC Orion X-Power 585watt PSU to power it and my system.
The Power supply ratings are as follows:

+3.3V@36A,+5V@36A,+12V1@19A,+12V2@20A,-12V@1A,+5 VSB@2.0A

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817339001

EDIT: Also should let ya know the 12v on this detects on the P5E as @ 11.23v normally no matter what I tried.

System will be:
Asus P5E
E6750
Crucial DDR2 1066 2GB Dual Channel
2 SATA II Hard Drives
2 SATA DVD burners
Creative Xi-Fi Xtreme Gamer 7.1
2 120mm case fans

Just wondering if I am going to run into any power issues using that PSU with the 8800GT.

Thanks in advance ^^

Nope, I have a ThermalTake PurePower 500W which only has 12V1 14A
and 12V2 15A. Your 1 and 2 rail have 5 Amps more each than mine. I'm also running 4 sticks of ram 1 HDD and a E2180 @ 3Ghz. You should be all set with that altough I never heard of that brand.

Yeah you'll be fine, hec is a good brand for low price power solutions. I'm about to run a 2900Pro on mine, so you should have no problem with your 8800GT.
