Looks like xbit is the only place that seems to care about cheap hardware. Check their review of the new celeron dual core. Maybe I'm wrong though, and Tom's has an article in the works. Here's hoping.

Unfortunately, THG is an enthusiasts site, and most enthusiasts look for greater and better hardwares than Celeron :p.

But I agree, THG should have a performance review dedicated to the new released Celeron. I'm curious how 512kb L2 will cripple its performance.

It appears Phenom = crappy.

Maybe AMD should change the name.

Anyways, the 512KB L2 cache will cripple the performance a lot, like a Phenom, as turpit suggested.

Xbit labs is a nice site, and they sometimes have first dibs on new hardware. But they are also very late on other things like the 3870HD ect. The new celeron is such low quality, I wouldn't be surprised if they found it in a cracker jack box :D
