Broken SATA pins - Help Please

Hi all,
I was taking my computer home from university the other day and as i was putting the side panel back on my Dell PC I had some trouble and snagged my SATA cable. I installed a new secondary hard drive to my pc and because Dell like to be awkward I had to purt a SATA cable in at an angle, this meant the cable was sticking out and couldn't get the case on. I took the cable out and in my frustration managed to bend ALL the pins and snap the plastic casing that they are alligned to.

Is there anyway I can retrieve the information on the hard drive? It has many important documents. It's a Samsung SpinPoint HD501LJ 500GB SATAII Hard Drive 16MB Cache.

Not sure if this will work but if you have an identical drive you may be able to exchange the PCB. On the other hand you may just make things worse.

If you can't bend the pins back then I don't have any other suggestions, and data recovery services are way too expensive...

You bent the pins and broke the plastic on the hard drive SATA connector (not the cable) correct?
