790i when And will it be available with DDR2?

I did a search for 790i. no finds for launch dates. Has there been any dates mentioned for a 790i launch?

Will it be available for DDR2?

I had to return my Sapphire 3870, so i figured i would think about Nvidia and SLI. Should i wait on a Nvidia chipset that better supports 45nm or not? Or should i stick with my first choice the X38 and xfire?

actually, i don't. I havent been keeping up with nvidia since i had a 3870. After my 3870 bugged up, i figured i would check nvidia out. I have read that the 780i is just a beefed up 680i and it has issues.

to my other point. Will it be worth waiting. I had to put my old e-VGA nvidia 7600GT in until i get decide what i want to do. Is there another nvidia mobo choice for 45nm cpus?
