I'm about 5-6 days away from doing this order and still undecided about the board, ... i've had my eye on the 680i but its not futureproof .... So i wanna go with the 780i even tho i won't use the triple SLI .... true x16 sli is important ... anyway, there site shows only one bios update on january 18th ... regarding the yorkshire, not the wolfdale .... as well as stating its 45nm ready ""45nm CPU ready (Yorkfield & Wolfdale)"" Yorkfield with bios update??* ...

Meaning if i order this board i should have no issue installing an e8400 ?

I just built an EVGA 780i with E8400 wolfdale system. It rocks!!!!!

I have the E8400 o'cd to 3.6 or 1600mhz FSB. I didnt touch the voltages except the GTLVREF lanes I set to +85mv. I dont know if that is right or not but saw it from guy on youtube.com

I love this system... I will eventually start an overclocking project. I could use a lot of input from someone that is experimenting around with similar system.

Get the EVGA!!! It rocks! I have no regrets at all.
