help plz sli

hi i am new on this site i need some help here i just bought another 8800 GT for my pc and i am checking the fps on counterstrike video test mode i am getting 250 fps with sli and without sli there is no difference plz let me know wats goin on or how to fix any software is involved

CS is pretty old, although 250 FPS seems really fast, it might be what you are actually getting. If its not increasing with SLI then your computer is CPU bound at that point, but not that that really matters.

I could be wrong, but maybe CS doesnt support SLI ?

Yeah I'm pretty sure Counterstrike doesn't support SLI. Try doing the same test on a newer game that supports SLI and see if you don't get an increase.

On another note, isn't Counterstrike frame limited at 250 FPS?

no its limited to 300fps
cs supports sli

i just have run 3dmark2006 1028*1024
will sli i got 13413 3DMarks
without sli i got 11858

Pc specs
abit in9 max motherboard
q6600 2.4mhz
2gbram
500gb hd
2*8800 GT SLi

Crysis i get the same fps ,,,,are any settings option to be done ??plz help

What settings are you running in Crysis? Use high details and/or fsaa and you should see an increase in crysis. Run the built in gpu bench or download guru3d's crysis benchmark utility. I see as high as a 55% increase now with Sli 8800GT over one card. Look over this thread and you will see my Q6600 SLI 8800GT crysis results(I'll add the latest results in a minute):

Over clock the cpu to 2.6 I bet you'll get the FPS increase...
Seriously that much FPS doesn't matter,
Your screen cant even output that fast.
