I went with G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) for my new build. Very nice RAM with excellent reviews. Going for $47 with free shipping on Newegg.

I got these for my rig:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820146565

They run at a little higher voltage than the G.Skills mentioned above (also great RAM), but have a lower latency of 4-4-4-12 at 800 speed. I chose them for their first-place finish in the TH review a while back. They also easily over clock to 1000+ at 5-5-5-15. Right now they're $40 after MIR from newegg. You won't be disappointed.
