Hi, I'm looking at upgrading in the very near future and i had it all planned out before i read about SLI/Crossfire
I was looking as getting the following:
8800GT
E8400
Ram
GA-P35-DS3P
and as you know you can but it's best not to hack drivers.
Question, what mother board would people recommed if i was just to get 1 8800gt and later get another 8800gt the same. As the P35 chipset will not longer do me any good so i need the nvidia chipset.

Please help!

Agreed, your better of spending more money now (or waiting for the 9800) and then when thats too slow upgrade to another single card.

The issues with SLI i believe far out way the benefits. Driver support, game support, high res's required.

Ok, so this is what I have: 2x raptor 150Gb, 2x seagate barracuda 7200.11 (500Gb), 2x evga GeForce 8800GTX 768MB ddr3, intel qx9650 (extreme), vista 64 bit ultimate system builders edition, 4x Corsair Dominator 2GB ddr2 1066, thermaltake 750W psu, and an antec 900 case.

I need a motherboard that will support this, sli included, raid supported, wont show up on my doorstep dead, and will support vista 64. Also do you think I should get a bigger psu? I am not worried about cost on the mobo. Any help would be appreciated.
